Guest feeling like at home. Safety protocol against Covid 19

We are starting to see the light after this long path. Step by step we are returning to the normal life and at Casa del Poeta Hotel we are preparing our reopening soon, but always considering that our highest priority is to guarantee the security of our guests and our team. That is the reason why we are going to proceed to explain the phases and prevention measures to take to face the situation.



The staff will be trained to act properly on the different tasks of the hotel. Also, everyone will have an individual kit with a face mask and hygiene gel that should be used all the time, and the temperature will be taken before the shift start. Also, they will keep the security distance with other members of the staff and guests and they can just Access to the building through the main entrance, as well as the workers external to the hotel.

All the staff will have their vaccination certificate of COVID-19.


At the arrival, the temperature of our guests will be taken. At the entrance and on the lift, rugs with water solution and disinfectant will be installed to ensure sterilization of shoe soles and suitcase wheels.

Our hotel just has access through the main door, providing a higher control. Also, we will provide gel and face masks to all of our guests.

The maximum capacity in reception area will be 1 person.


Rooms and apartments cleaning will be intensified. It will be disinfected with ozone to the minimun detail: rugs will be taken away, the bathrooms and switches will have a deep cleaning, it will be ventilated daily, towels and bedding will pass a process of high temperature washes and for placement and removal a double circuit will be performed avoiding contact between used and cleaned pieces. About the more specific details as documents in the rooms, it will be an only disposable document that will be discarded every stay, as well as the amenities. To be considered also the remote controls for televisions and air conditioners; they will be covered with a plastic bag that will be changed every visit. To be able to perform this cleaning process we will have a large stock of cleaning products avoiding the lack of products anytime. A set with a protection face mask and gel will be facilitated to each guest.


As well as our rooms and apartments, a deep and exhaustive cleaning will be performed in all the common areas by increasing the frequency of cleansing and disinfection of these spaces with a daily ventilation, taking special consideration of spaces with higher risk as the front desk, doors, bathrooms and rooms keycards. The higher risk zones will be marked with signs with preventives advices.

About the lift, it could be used only for one person at the time and the buttons will be cleaned at every use.


A gel disposal will be at the entrance of the room and the staff will give indications about the use of the buffet, having the possibility of requesting from the reserved table. All the products will be elaborated and manipulated with the highest standards of cleaning and hygiene.

Breakfast and roomservice staff will wear the protection and gloves necessaries to provide a safe service.

For the roomservice, the relevant protocol will be followed, delivering the requested trays at the entrance of the room.


Nevertheless, these measures could be modified depending on the orders of the sanitary authorities.
